WiseBeanie

Beanie Compliance Documents and Testing

Plan document checks for your beanie order. We confirm which records are available, who holds them and whether they cover your product before making a certification claim.

Three Checks for Your Order

  • The supplied product
Match the file to the selected yarn, component or finished beanie.
  • The named holder
Check the facility, supplier and activities actually covered.
  • The required evidence
Review dates, test results and order-specific documents before approval.

Document Types to Discuss for Your Order

Your buyer may request the document types below. Listing them does not establish certification of WiseBeanie or a particular beanie. Check the actual holder, scope and dates for your order.

Blank binders and papers on a desk for document review

ISO 9001 — Management System

For an ISO 9001 requirement, review the certificate for the named organization, covered facility, standard edition and validity.

  • Applies to: The organization and activities named in the certificate.
  • Check: Certificate number, standard edition, certification body, covered site and dates.
  • For your order: Confirm the listed manufacturing activities are relevant to the supplying facility.

amfori BSCI — Social Audit

For an amfori BSCI requirement, review the audit report and follow-up status for the named production site. BSCI is a social auditing programme, not a product certification.

  • Applies to: The audited site and assessment recorded in the report.
  • Check: Site identity, audit date, results and any follow-up information.
  • For your order: Confirm your sourcing team’s acceptance and audit requirements.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 — Textile Testing

Review whether the certificate covers the selected yarn, component or finished article. Do not assume material coverage extends to the whole beanie.

  • Applies to: The textile articles and product class stated in the certificate.
  • Check: Holder, certificate number, covered articles and validity.
  • For your order: Match the covered article to the actual yarn or product being supplied.

REACH — Relevant Test and Material Records

Identify the REACH substance requirements relevant to the materials and product, then review the supporting records. A test report answers only the requirements and sample it covers.

  • Applies to: The tested sample and requirements listed in the report.
  • Check: Sample identity, laboratory, test methods, report date and results.
  • For your order: Confirm whether existing evidence covers the selected construction or additional tests are needed.

GRS — Recycled Material and Supply Chain

For a recycled-material order, review the certified scope and evidence linking the selected supply to the order.

  • Check the scope: Named holder, covered materials, processes and validity.
  • Check the order: Confirm the supply-chain and transaction evidence needed for the proposed claim.
  • Agree the wording: Review applicability before presenting a finished beanie as certified.

Agree the Evidence Before Production

Send your buyer specification or test list. We can check file availability and identify gaps.

01

Share the Requirement

Send the beanie type, material and target market, plus any standard, test list or buyer request you already have.

02

Check the Available Files

Review the actual copies for holder, covered facility or material, scope and dates. Identify any gap that needs an updated file or a new test.

03

Confirm Testing and Costs

SGS, Intertek, BV or other agreed third-party testing, audits and inspections can be arranged. Confirm the standard, sample, laboratory, cost and timing for the project.

Need a Specific Document or Test?

Send your requirement or buyer checklist. We can review which documents may apply and what else needs arranging.

Document and Testing Questions

How to request copies and check whether they apply to your beanie order.

Tell us which document or buyer requirement applies to your order. We can review requests concerning ISO 9001, amfori BSCI, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, REACH and GRS. Availability and applicability must be checked against the actual holder, scope, dates and product; a name listed here is not proof of certification.
Only if the actual document and applicable supply-chain requirements support that scope. Check the named holder, covered material or product, site, dates and order evidence. A yarn supplier document by itself does not establish certification for every finished beanie.
Tell us the product, material, destination market and evidence your buyer requires. We will confirm which relevant copies are available after project review. Any redaction should leave enough information to verify the holder, issuer, scope and dates.
Check its holder, document number, issuer or laboratory, covered site or product, scope and dates. Use the issuer’s verification channel where available. Verify the actual file; a photo or logo alone does not establish its validity or scope.
Yes. We support project-specific testing, factory audits and inspections through providers such as SGS, Intertek and BV. The test requirements, sample, laboratory, cost and time are agreed for the product and material before work starts.
