A Logo That Works With the Knit
The same embroidery can look different on a smooth cuff and a chunky knit. We review the artwork at its finished size and how the chosen surface supports the stitches.
- Beanie styles: Cuffed, pom pom, fisherman, slouchy, cuffless and Christmas beanies, depending on the material, surface and position.
- Orders: Brand, retail, private label, team, event and promotional orders.
- Before sampling: Review artwork detail, thread colors, finished size, placement, nearby seams or edges, knit surface and quantity together.

We check readable detail, thread color and placement on the chosen knit.
Artwork and Readable Detail
Letters, lines and gaps need enough space to remain readable when stitched at the final size.
- Send vector artwork when available, or the clearest original file.
- State which details and proportions must not change.
- Complex gradients and very small elements may need simplification before sampling.
Thread Color Against the Beanie
Choose thread colors with the beanie color in view. A physical color reference or Pantone reference helps establish the intended result.
- Provide Pantone references or a physical color sample when color matching matters.
- Check thread colors against the beanie color, not on a white screen alone.
- Approve the actual embroidered color combination before bulk production.
Finished Size and Position
Specify the logo width, height and distances from a clear reference point. Check the visible position with the cuff folded or beanie worn as intended.
- Possible areas include the cuff, beanie body or beside a pom pom, depending on the structure.
- Check the distance from seams, folds, edges and other components.
- Approve alignment and visible position with the beanie worn or folded as intended.
Stitches on the Actual Surface
Sample the embroidery on the chosen yarn, gauge and knit texture. Check the stitched area together with the overall shape and fit.
- Confirm that the selected area supports the required detail and size.
- Check stitch count, surface appearance and whether the embroidery pulls the knit out of shape.
- Approve the logo with the beanie shape, size, labels and packaging.
Check the Embroidery Before Bulk Production
The embroidered sample sets the reference for production.
Send Your Artwork
Send your logo and a beanie reference. We confirm thread colors, logo dimensions, placement, material, quantity, labels, packing and schedule.
Review the Embroidered Sample
Check detail, color, alignment and the effect on the knit, plus the beanie fit and packaging. Standard sampling normally takes 5–7 days; the 3-day rush option costs extra.
Approve the Production Reference
Confirm the physical sample and specification in writing. In-process checks review embroidery position and stitch count; final checks review the logo on the complete beanie.
