We check the requested Merino content, other fibres, yarn availability and required documents before development. Our factory makes a physical sample to confirm the material, shape and branding before bulk production.

  • Production and inspection: We complete knitting, sewing, logo application, finishing, inspection and packing in-house, without production outsourcing. IQC checks incoming yarn and accessories, IPQC monitors production, and FQC checks finished beanies against the approved sample.

Approve Hand Feel and Fit on the Beanie

Hand feel and fit are judged on the complete beanie. We develop the yarn, gauge and structure together and check stretch, recovery and finished measurements.

    Review the actual yarn or finished swatch when hand feel is important.
  • Gauge Choice
    Match 3G, 5G, 7G or 12G to the required surface, weight and construction.
  • Stretch and Recovery
    Stretch the finished sample and check its recovery; do not approve fit from fibre content alone.
  • Finished Measurements
    Approve width, crown height, cuff height and wearer fit in the final structure.

Confirm Care Wording Before Label Production

Care instructions follow the approved composition and construction. We review wording and market details before producing labels or hangtags.

    Use the confirmed Merino and other fibre percentages.

Custom Merino Wool Beanie FAQ

Confirm Merino content, any required fineness records and the terms for developing your sample.

Specify Merino by name; a general wool description does not establish that the yarn is Merino. Confirm every fibre percentage, the yarn reference, knit, fit and brand details. Washing, shrinkage and skin-feel claims need their own support.
You may request 100% Merino or a Merino blend, subject to yarn availability and production feasibility. List every fibre and percentage. WiseBeanie checks color, MOQ, price and timing for the specification. Record the final composition and yarn reference before sampling and label production.
Include any required fineness value, supplier specification, composition record or material document in the written brief. WiseBeanie checks whether the yarn source can provide the requested information and confirms its scope before the order. Do not publish a micron value or document claim until it matches the approved yarn.
The standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style and color. A standard pre-production sample normally takes 5–7 days; a 3-day rush option costs extra. Bulk production normally takes 15–20 days after written sample and specification approval and receipt of the agreed deposit. Shipping time is additional. Merino yarn availability, composition, color, structure, labels, packaging, revisions and scheduling can change the final quantity, price or timing.
