A Short Profile Developed Around Your Fit

Our knitting team builds the crown, opening and cuff from your measurements or reference. Approve the above-ear, near-ear or partial-ear fit with the branding before bulk production.

Specify the Fisherman Beanie Profile

Provide crown height, flat opening width, folded cuff height and wearing position together. These define the short profile we develop for sampling.

  • Finished Crown Height
Provide the crown height or a reference sample for the intended wearing position.
  • Flat Opening Width
For projects requiring a defined grip and fit. Confirm it with the selected yarn and rib structure because stretch can change the result.
  • Finished Cuff Height
Approve the folded cuff height alongside the total hat length and logo area.
  • Target Wearing Position
For collections with a specific above-ear, near-ear or partial-ear look. Confirm the result on a wearer or suitable form during sample approval.

Yarn and Hand Feel

Choose fiber and hand feel first. Yarn count, shade availability, care information, MOQ and cost are confirmed for your order.

  • Acrylic
Confirm the exact yarn, color and hand feel on the sample.
  • Cotton
Approve stretch and fit on the sample made with your chosen cotton yarn.
  • Wool Blend
For collections requiring wool content with project-specific composition. Blend ratio, care, color supply and price are confirmed before sampling.
  • Recycled Polyester
For orders specifying a recycled synthetic option. Material availability and supporting documents are confirmed for the order.
  • Organic Cotton
Yarn supply, documents, MOQ, price and timing require project review.
  • Recycled Acrylic
Availability, color range, documents and order terms are confirmed before approval.

Sizing for the Intended Wearer

Give measurements for the actual wearer group. We develop the opening, crown and cuff from your drawing or sample and confirm the fit physically.

  • Adult Size
Confirm target head range, finished measurements and wearing position rather than relying on one-size wording.
  • Child Size
Provide the intended wearer range and safety or labeling requirements for the destination.
  • Infant Size
For infant product programs with separate fit requirements. Dimensions, materials, trims, labels and project requirements must be reviewed before sampling.

Choose Packaging for Handling or Retail

Choose packaging for handling, retail or gifting. Confirm the material, dimensions, print files, units per carton and packaging minimum before the final quote.

  • Individual PE Bag
Confirm bag size, closure, warnings and destination requirements.
  • Kraft Paper Bag
For orders specifying a paper-based presentation. Paper, printing, closure, size and minimum quantity are project-specific.
  • Custom Box
For retail, gifting or presentation-led programs. Structure, print, inserts, dimensions and minimum quantity affect the quote.
  • Degradable Bag
Material specification, claims, availability and required documents must be confirmed.

Ribbed Fisherman Beanie FAQs

Answers to the design, sampling and order questions for this style.

A ribbed fisherman beanie is a short knit hat with vertical ribs and a folded cuff. Brands use it for compact streetwear and lifestyle silhouettes. Crown height, opening width, cuff height and wearing position are specified for the order; above-ear fit is not assumed from the name alone.
Specify crown height, flat opening width and folded cuff height, plus whether the edge should sit above, on or near the ears. Review the result in the selected yarn and rib structure on a wearer or suitable form before approving the sample.
WiseBeanie offers acrylic, cotton, wool blend, recycled polyester, organic cotton and recycled acrylic for project review. Logo options include embroidery, screen print, heat transfer, jacquard knit, woven label and leather patch. Send the product reference, color, dimensions and logo artwork with size and placement. The finished yarn, color, fit and branding are approved on a pre-production sample.
Standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style and color. A pre-production sample normally takes 5–7 days, and regular bulk production normally takes 15–20 days after written approval of the sample and final specifications and receipt of the 50% deposit. Shipping time is additional. Special yarns, colors, logo methods, packaging, order quantity, revisions and factory scheduling can change these terms. IQC, IPQC and FQC checks compare materials, dimensions, cuff shape, branding and packing with the approved requirements.
Send the beanie reference or drawing, intended wearer, crown height, flat opening width, cuff height, yarn, color, logo artwork and placement, quantity per color, labels and packaging. Also provide the destination and required arrival date. We review feasibility, material supply, MOQ, sample requirements, production timing and packing details before issuing written order terms.
