Choose fine or wider ribs and approve their proportions in the selected yarn.
Knit Density
Knit density sets hand feel, stretch and surface stability. Confirm it with the yarn and finished measurements because it affects fit and drape.
Stretch and Recovery
Check opening grip and crown drape on the intended wearer; a flat photo cannot show stretch and recovery.

Review seams, crown shaping and the side and rear profiles against your reference.

Slouch Shape and Measurements

Send crown height, flat opening width and a worn reference for the rear drop. These measurements must describe the same intended fit.

Finished Crown Height
Crown height sets the total amount of crown material. Give the laid-flat finished measurement and approve it with the selected yarn and rib.
Flat Opening Width
Opening width controls head fit, grip and where the crown settles. Provide the flat measurement or approved fit sample and review stretch on the target wearer.
Target Rear Drop
Rear drop defines how far and where the crown falls behind the head. Use a worn reference and approve the lowest point and overall rear profile on the sample.
Age and Wearing Position
Adult, child, infant or oversized programs have different fit targets. Identify the wearer and intended edge position so the same dimensions are not applied to every size.

Acrylic
Check yarn count, color, hand feel, stretch and rear drop on the sample.
Cotton
Confirm the selected yarn, weight, recovery and drape because it will not match acrylic exactly.
Wool Blend
Confirm blend composition, hand feel, care information and worn shape before production.
Recycled Polyester
Confirm the exact yarn, available color and supporting material documents for the order.
Organic Cotton
Confirm yarn availability, color, documents and project conditions before fixing the sample schedule.
Recycled Acrylic
Confirm yarn availability, color, documents, recovery and drape before bulk production.

Branding for Ribbed Knit

Choose branding after defining the rib and worn shape. Check artwork detail, size, color and placement on the actual knitted surface.

Embroidery
Embroidery stitches logos directly onto the beanie. Confirm artwork detail, finished size, thread colors and position on the ribbed sample.
Screen Printing
For artwork suited to direct printing on the knit. Feasibility depends on the rib, artwork and location; approve the actual result before production.
Heat Transfer
For suitable artwork applied by transfer. Confirm transfer type, size, colors, adhesion and appearance on the selected rib structure.
Jacquard Knitting
For logos or patterns knitted into the structure. Confirm the chart, yarn colors, rib compatibility and finished appearance through sampling.
Woven Label
For detailed text or graphics on a separate label. Confirm label dimensions, colors, edge, attachment and placement away from unwanted rear folds.
Leather Patch
For projects that require a leather-patch appearance. Confirm material, artwork, color, dimensions, application details and position by sample.

Checks cover rib appearance, crown height, opening width, rear drop, seams, logo position, labels and packaging. Full inspection, AQL or third-party inspection can be arranged by project.
