A Lightweight Result Defined by Your Sample

We develop material, knit structure, layers and size together. Check weight, hand feel, fit, edge shape and logo support on the completed beanie before approving bulk production.

Four Factors Affecting Weight

Material, knit structure, layers and size all affect finished weight. Define them together and record the approved sample as the reference.

  • Material Selection
Confirm the fiber, yarn and supply conditions against your target weight and feel.
  • Knit Structure
Approve stitch structure and density on the sample for weight, stretch and surface appearance.
  • Layer Construction
Specify the number of layers and check their effect on weight, edge construction, opacity and fit.
  • Finished Cap Weight
Provide a reference or target weight and approve the completed sample before production.

Wearer and Finished Fit

Specify the wearer, crown depth, opening width and edge position. Review stretch and recovery with the completed lightweight construction.

  • Adult Size
Confirm finished dimensions and the intended close or relaxed fit instead of relying only on “one size.”
  • Child Size
Use the target age group and measurements; do not scale from an adult sample without review.
  • Infant Size
Infant programs have separate fit requirements. Confirm dimensions, labels, materials and project requirements before sampling.
  • Custom Dimensions
If you work from a tech pack, measurement sheet or physical sample, approve crown depth, flat width, lower edge and finished fit on the pre-production sample.

Material and Hand Feel

Select yarn for feel, surface, stretch and sourcing needs. Approve weight and fit on the actual beanie rather than by material name alone.

  • Acrylic
General bulk, promotional, team, and retail projects. Finished weight and hand feel depend on yarn, structure, layers, and dimensions.
  • Cotton
Confirm exact composition, yarn, weight, stretch, and recovery in the physical sample.
  • Wool Blend
Brand projects seeking a specified wool-blend composition. Blend ratio, hand feel, weight, care information, supply, and MOQ require project confirmation.
  • Recycled Polyester
Yarn supply, finished weight, documentation, MOQ, price, and timing are order-specific.
  • Organic Cotton
Buyers requiring organic cotton. Yarn source, composition, documents, weight, MOQ, price, and timing must be confirmed for the order.
  • Recycled Acrylic
Availability, composition, documentation, color, weight, MOQ, and lead time are project-specific.

Choose the Color or Pattern

Use a Pantone reference or physical swatch, then define solid, stripe, color-block or jacquard areas. Approve the color and layout in the chosen knit.

  • Pantone Reference
Brands with a defined digital or printed color standard. Matching depends on available yarn and should be approved on the actual sample.
  • Physical Color Swatch
Buyers matching an existing product or material. Send a representative sample and approve the nearest feasible yarn result.
  • Solid Color
Programs needing one clear body color. Confirm yarn lot, material, and approved sample before bulk production.
  • Stripes
Team, retail, and promotional designs with repeated bands. Confirm stripe width, sequence, yarn colors, and alignment on the sample.
  • Color Blocking
Designs using separated color areas. Confirm panel or knit transitions, placement, and how the layout meets the crown and lower edge.
  • Jacquard Pattern
Brands using knitted text, motifs, or repeated graphics. Simplify artwork to feasible stitches and approve pattern scale, colors, structure, and weight.

Lightweight Cuffless Beanie FAQs

Answers to the design, sampling and order questions for this style.

A lightweight cuffless beanie has no folded band and is developed for a lighter feel and less bulk. It suits brand, team, retail and private-label orders. Lightweight does not imply cooling, quick-dry, windproof, warmth or helmet compatibility; those requirements need separate material, construction and test confirmation.
Send a target weight or reference, wearer group, crown depth, opening width and edge position. Material, knit, layers and size define the result. Approve finished weight, feel, stretch, recovery, edge shape and logo support together on the physical sample.
Specify material, target weight, size, structure, color or pattern, logo method, labels, and packaging before sampling. Send a style drawing, reference image, physical sample, measurement sheet, color reference, and final logo artwork where available. Review the physical sample for finished weight, hand feel, fit, edge shape, color, logo, labels, and packaging before written bulk approval.
Standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style and color. Sampling normally takes 5–7 days after specifications are confirmed, and production normally takes 15–20 days after written approval of the sample and final specifications and receipt of the 50% deposit. Shipping time is additional. Material, structure, layer construction, size, quantity, revisions, packaging, and schedule may change these conditions. IQC, IPQC, and FQC cover incoming materials, knitting and assembly stages, and finished goods against the approved reference.
Send the reference style, target weight or sample, wearer group, finished dimensions, material, knit or layer requirements, color or pattern, logo file, logo size and placement, labels, packaging, quantity by color, destination, and required arrival date. We review yarn and construction feasibility, applicable MOQ, quote, sample plan, production estimate, and shipping preparation.
