Develop and Check the Close Fit

We develop crown depth, opening and lower-edge coverage together. The physical sample lets you check stretch, recovery and the limited extra crown volume your design requires.

Choose the Size for the Wearer

Choose the wearer group, then give finished measurements for the selected yarn and construction. An age or size label does not define the fit.

  • Adult Size
Confirm the finished crown depth and flat opening width.
  • Child Size
Provide the intended age range or approved measurements.
  • Infant Size
Confirm measurements, material, labels, and care requirements before sampling.
  • Custom Size
Suitable when standard wearer groups do not match the project. Develop from a drawing, measurement sheet, or physical reference sample.

Close Fit Measurements

Set crown depth, opening width and edge coverage for a close profile. Approve flat dimensions, stretch and recovery on the physical sample.

  • Crown Depth
Controls how much vertical coverage and extra crown space the beanie has. Provide a target measurement or approved reference.
  • Flat Opening Width
Helps define the unstretched opening before wear. Review it with the selected material’s stretch and recovery.
  • Close-Fit Profile
Suitable when the project requires limited extra volume above the head. Approve the full side profile on the sample.
  • Lower-Edge Coverage
Sets where the cuffless edge sits around the forehead and ears. Confirm the intended wearing position before production.
  • Approved Sample
Sets the finished fit reference for bulk production. Check dimensions, shape, recovery, and comfort on the intended wearer.

Choose Material by Feel and Recovery

  • Acrylic
Confirm yarn feel, color, stretch, and recovery in the sample.
  • Cotton
Confirm weight, stretch, and recovery for the chosen structure.
  • Wool Blend
Confirm the blend, feel, and care requirements before sampling.
  • Recycled Polyester
Confirm the material specification and available supporting documents.
  • Organic Cotton
Confirm the yarn specification and available supporting documents.
  • Recycled Acrylic
Confirm the yarn specification, color, feel, and available documentation.

Specify Team or Brand Colors

Choose yarn shades and the color layout together. Pantone references or swatches guide the match; the physical sample confirms the final knitted color.

  • Pantone Reference
Provide the Pantone code, then approve the yarn and finished knitted shade.
  • Physical Swatch
Send a physical color swatch and approve the closest feasible yarn match.
  • Solid Color
Suitable for a single team or brand color. Confirm the yarn shade under the agreed sample conditions.
  • Stripes
Suitable for repeated team or collection color bands. Confirm stripe width, sequence, and placement in the knit layout.
  • Color-Block
Suitable for separated color areas. Confirm each area, join position, and yarn combination before sampling.
  • Jacquard Pattern
Suitable for knitted graphics or repeating brand patterns. Confirm charted artwork, color count, scale, and sample appearance.

Skull Cap Beanie FAQs

Answers to the design, sampling and order questions for this style.

A skull cap beanie is a close-fitting cuffless knitted hat with little extra crown volume. We develop it for teams, sports brands, retail and private-label projects. Helmet-liner use or performance claims need separate project confirmation.
Specify the wearer, crown depth, flat opening width and lower-edge coverage. Review those measurements with the selected yarn, stretch and recovery. A drawing, measurement sheet or reference sample helps us develop and approve the low-profile shape.
Teams and brands can customize a skull cap beanie's size, fit, material, color or pattern, logo method, labels, and packaging. Send the style reference, dimensions, color reference, and final logo artwork. We make a pre-production sample to the confirmed specifications. The finished fit, color, logo, label placement, and packaging are approved before bulk production.
Standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style and color. Sampling normally takes 5–7 days after specifications are confirmed. Production normally takes 15–20 days after written approval of the sample and final specifications and receipt of the 50% deposit. Shipping time is additional. Size, material, structure, quantity, revisions, and schedule may change these conditions. IQC, IPQC, and FQC cover incoming materials, production stages, and finished goods.
Send the reference style, wearer group, crown depth, flat width, lower-edge coverage, material, color or pattern, logo file, logo size and placement, labels, packaging, quantity by color, destination, and required arrival date. We review these details before confirming the quote and sample plan.
