Keep the Bands Visible Above the Fold
Set the cuff height before arranging the pattern bands. A tall fold can hide the lowest motif row, while crown shaping can interrupt the highest one. We place the bands on the finished hat dimensions and check them all around the sample.
Keep Small Motifs Legible
Closely matched colors may soften the pattern; stronger contrast can make small repeats easier to read. Approve each yarn shade and the knitted combination together. We check the repeat with yarn and gauge at the intended hat size.
Leave Room for the Cuff Logo
A plain cuff gives the brand mark space beneath the pattern. Send embroidery or label artwork with its finished size, and coordinate it with the cuff color. Main labels, care labels and a printed hangtag can carry more brand information without crowding the motifs.
Check These Details on Your Sample
Standard samples usually take 5–7 days after the brief and sample arrangements are confirmed. Sample fees and freight apply; the first two revisions are free. Special materials or further changes can affect timing.
- Check band order and motif spacing around the whole hat.
- Confirm the cuff fold leaves the intended pattern visible.
- Review the palette, logo and optional pom together.
- Approve gift packing and the production plan against the required arrival date.

From Approved Sample to Bulk Production
Our production checks compare the band order, color changes, repeat join and cuff with the approved sample. We inspect the optional pom, logo, labels and packing before shipment. Holiday orders are scheduled from sample approval and material availability, with transit time planned separately.
Bulk production typically takes 15–20 days after written approval of the sample and final specifications and receipt of the 50% deposit. Yarn supply, quantity and scheduling can change the lead time. The balance is due before shipping; transit is additional.
