Set Coverage Before Cuff Height
A full cuffed style can be developed for more ear coverage than a short fisherman fit. Mark where the lower edge should sit and measure the hat with its cuff folded. We review the crown and fold together so raising the cuff does not unintentionally shorten the hat.
Choose Yarn for the Waffle You Want
Acrylic, cotton, wool blend and the listed recycled or organic yarn options can be reviewed for this knit. The same cell pattern can look different in another yarn. Use a physical swatch or Pantone reference for color and approve the actual texture, shade and feel together.
Keep Lettering Clear Across the Grid
Small stitches can disappear between raised cells. Send the intended logo size before choosing direct embroidery. We can review a woven label or patch when the artwork needs a flatter surface. The sample establishes cuff position, edge finish and how the decoration sits on stretched knit.
Check These Details on Your Sample
Standard samples usually take 5–7 days after the brief and sample arrangements are confirmed. Sample fees and freight apply; the first two revisions are free. Special materials or further changes can affect timing.

From Approved Sample to Bulk Production
During knitting we compare the cell repeat, tension and dimensions with the approved sample. Final checks cover the fold, crown seams, logo alignment and labels before individual packing. A changed yarn or gauge needs review because it can alter both the grid and the fit.
Bulk production typically takes 15–20 days after written approval of the sample and final specifications and receipt of the 50% deposit. Yarn supply, quantity and scheduling can change the lead time. The balance is due before shipping; transit is additional.
